Amaris' art
Hello,
I don't know how much time I spent before I decided to share my art with you.
There are so many good artist and beautiful creations on this forum but I decided the same to put some of my pieces.
It is a bit of different art as my favorite is oil painting (that I discovered only some years ago) but anyway, here you are.....
the first one:
Waiting for the Prince
then:
Black Angel
and:
Saffiria
Thank you all..

Thank you Guys
I'm really pleased that you like it. I have to say that I'm pretty slow painter but I take the whole pleasure creating every little detail. Still far away from my goals (to be able to create my own ideas - for now I'm only copying) but full of hopes
SpringPrimrose - looking forward to your Yin & Yang fish

Re: Amaris' art
I have posted it Amaris, it's not as good as your oil paintings but it's all right. I hope you like my fish picture I might post some more of my artworks later.

Re: Amaris' art
They're all amazing.
The first one is my favorite. It's drawn just as perfectly as the original, and I love that you drew the entire picture rather than letting it fade out. ^^ Also, for what it's worth, I think the blue tint was a great idea. The tragic feel it adds to it makes the painting feel complete and almost alive, or at least that's the way I see it. [:
Good luck in achieving your goal; I'm sure your original paintings would be even better than these. c:

Re: Amaris' art
When I first saw the words "oil painting" this wasn't what I had in mind, I was thinking..... I don't know, just... not this!
This is ... incredible O__O
Honestly, some people could try doing something like that for a long time and not be able to get that result. When I first saw it, I thought "photoshop? computer effects?" and then I looked closer, and it didn't look like computer pictures. Then I was just struck speechless.....
If you were a random person, I would probably think you stole that off some talented artist. It's simply AMAZING. How long does it take to complete one of those?
Have you ever considered illustrating for manga covers? (has a certain quality that would make it a good front cover)
My favourite is the 2nd one. I love the background of the 3rd one. The 1st would make a really good manga cover or poster or... something like that.

Re: Amaris' art
These are beautiful. My brother is a professional animator, and even his paintings don't compare. (Although he has never drawn in a more anime style.)
